「一山不容二虎，一葉不容二蟲」。平常看似安靜無聲的昆蟲，為了領域地盤之爭，竟會爭鬥得如此激烈：相逢於同片葉子，葉片竟被扭轉成兩邊，一邊一蟲論高下。前足脛節扁平狀的構造是牠們打鬥的武器，褐色雙峰疣椿象似乎贏了，因為牠已挾持住黑色雙峰疣椿象的前足。

“Two tigers cannot share the same mountain and two insects cannot share the same leaf.” Insects fight aggresively for territory, such as this encounter of the two shield bugs (Cazira verrucosa) on a leaf. The leaf was twisted, with one shield bug above the other. The flat structures on the tibia of the forelegs function as weapons. The brown one seems to be winning as it has pinned down the forelegs of its opponent.
