許多雌性海洋生物是偉大的母親。從產卵，即竭盡所能地照料；不僅是逐顆清潔卵，或是搧動水流提供每一顆卵新鮮氧氣，均是希望能順利孵化後代。章魚媽媽從產卵到孵化寶寶期間均不進食。當寶寶們破卵而出時，也是章魚媽媽生命的盡頭。生命的結束，是另一群新生命的開始。

Many female marine organisms are great mothers. After laying eggs, they do their best to take care of them, no matter if that means cleaning them or fanning the water to bring fresh oxygen. All this is done with the hope that the eggs will smoothly hatch. An octopus mother stops feeding herself after laying her eggs. The time they hatch is when her life ends. With her passing, new life begins.
