國立自然科學博物館

庫車大峽谷位於新疆天山南麓的庫車縣附近，南北走向，全長5公里，最寬處53公尺，最窄處僅0.4公尺，只容1人躬身通過。億萬年的地質作用和風雨侵蝕，造就了庫車大峽谷獨特的地貌景觀。紅褐色的岩石在正午光線的照射下，顯露出獨特的魅力和神秘的氛圍。在峰迴路轉的深處，人類在自然面前顯得無比渺小，那整齊的刀刻痕跡，是大自然留下的永恆力量。

Kuqa Gorge is located near the southern foothills of Tian Shan in Kuqa County, Xinjiang. It runs north to south for five kilometers, and has a maximum width of 53 meters. At its narrowest point it is only 0.4 meters. Billions of years of geological process and erosion by wind and rain have created the unique landscapes. The gorge is at its most beautiful when the sun shines on the reddish brown rocks at high noon. Along the winding paths in the deepest part of the gorge it is easy to feel insignificant in the face of Nature. The neat cuts are evidence of the everlasting power of Nature.
